Our Family Pictures Dece 31st 2011

Amazing as it was we did manage to finally get all of us together for pictures. Theres just getting so many of us now and we all have our own lifes and families that its just getting harder and harder for us all to be together at one place at the same time. After months of planning and i mean months we did all finally figure out a time and place that we could do pictures. On New Years Eve its not easy finding a photographer, moreso when its six pm in the evening. We did hit lucky and found Wayman Photography in Riverton willing to help us. We did have a couple of others willing too but i couldnt believe how they were trying to take advantage of the fact that was the only time for us to do it. One wanted 400.00 for the hour just to take pictures in our home without a backdrop or anything. Claimed it was travel and holiday charges etc etc. Wayman didnt charge much for a sitting fee, just 15.00 but there pictures are not cheap, they are pretty pricey, but the job they do is first class and well once every five or ten years i figured it was worth it. Anyway here they are. Above of course is the family one. We have a huge one on our wall which i totally love. I told Wayman what i wanted and he did it. I would certainly refer them to anyone and would use them again.

Above one of Jay and family wasnt taken there, her brother whos a photographer (and couldnt do pictures for us due to it being New Years Eve) did this one in Dece. So they didnt do another family one but wished they had once they saw the finished pictures. But that said i love this picture too and am very glad they give me a family picture for christmas every year. I love that!

I love the fact we had one with our kids and also one with our grandkids. I want to do a grandkid picture every year from now on. The one Wayman took this year didnt come out but hopefully next year the kids will be older and do better. lol. But i love my pictures and im very happy we were able to do it. Thanks guys for all working together to make this happen. Love ya.
