Fun Blankets And Blocks

Carole is the owner of Gate 5 which you can find on my list of bloggers. She makes the most amazing cute items and ive put her to good use the past few months. Seems like everyone was having baby boys so i had her make some blankets and blocks for me. Okay this one was made for Erin (astras older sister). Erin is one of the coaches of the minerettes and she was wonderful to us and Lucy when she was on the team. Carole had to rush and make hers fast as she ended up having Boston a month early. Which as most of you know was a blessing. I in fact dropped this off to jamie and astras house for erin a few days before astra passed away. It was something i though of at the viewing. How can one day i be dropping off a gift and then here we are. Your life can sure change quickly. But anyway i love this blanket and the makers of the material did in fact put this blanket on there website as they loved it too. Erin loved it and sent me a cute msg the day after she recd it. She said out of all the gifts she recd this was one of her faves. I hope baby Boston can enjoy rolling around on it and playing with his nice soft blocks. This next one was for a special friend of mine. Margie at work. Ive worked with her pretty much every day for ten years and she has been trying to have a baby for many many years. In fact her baby boy Ryker is due Dece 22nd on there 16th wedding anniversary. This little guy has been awaited a long long time. Margie also hired Carole to make all the bedding and curtains in her nursery so this one was made around those colors so it all matches. Margie didnt know about this set when we had her baby shower at work and she totally loves it and cant wait for baby Ryker to get to use it.

Oops looks like bostons blanket slipped in here too. lol.

Baby Harry was finally born this past weekend. This one had to be shipped all the way to England. His mama is my wonderful cousin Garys daughter. She was thilled to get an item that you really dont see over the pond and she had pictures of it all over facebook when she got it. lol. Im glad hes finally here and can enjoy such a darling blanket.


And Rykers slipped in, lol. Ive tell you what happened. I was on my cell phone talking to Lucy when i was loading these pictures, so its all her though. lol.
And last of all is baby Asher. This little guy really was small. He was born two months early due to his mama Julie having Helpp. (i think thats the right word for it). Its what Carole had too with Leanna. Anyway he was only 2lbs 12oz at birth but has already reached 8lbs in three months and is doing awesome. His mamma Julie was Lucys coach on minerettes in her first few years there and shes an amazing person. She totally loved this blanket also of course and at the viewing last week (Ashers still not allowed out so he wasnt there) she told me that he has play time on this blanket every day and that he seems to really like this blanket. Im so happy that i was able to give these four wonderful new moms such wonderful gifts. Im excited also that my hairdresser of six years is having a girl and we can do a girl one now also. lol. Thank you Carole for helping me with such wonderful gifts. Oh she also made our other grandbaby Jayson one for his birthday last June. And like i said get your orders in now.
