This was over a week ago but was just a hard week last week and didnt want to blog. We went down to dixie with Jay, Emmalee and Jayson for Lucys homecoming parade and game. We all arrived on the friday night and stayed in the marriott (thanks to dan) in nice king suite rooms. Saturday morning saw us bright and early at the parade. Its called the Founders Parade but they always do it when dixie has there homecoming. Its really a great parade and i cant believe all the candy that gets thrown out to the kids. I liked the petsmart one that threw out whole bags of dog and cat food, lol. People around us said that they dont worry about trick and treating with there kids, that they go to the parade instead, have more fun and get triple the candy. It really is a great parade and we really enjoyed it. The weather was great and we all had fun. After that we had the football homecoming game. It was also a fun game and the girls danced at half time and i just totally loved there routine. The girls just like last year got to jump on a bunch of harleys at the end of the routine and go riding around the track. lol. The rest of the weekend went by way too fast, us girls went shopping and we went to the hot tub, Jay and Em went on a hike and Jayson hang out with us in our room while they went and got ice cream. After another night there we left the next day on sunday and headed home. It really was a nice trip. Sadly it was after the game that we heard the sad news about Astra and weve grateful we were down south with Lucy when we got the news. But we really do enjoy traveling with our kids and there families and weve happy they came with us. Heres some pictures of course.
Lucy and i at Chillis.
These girls are with dance alliance dance studio and are in fact the students that lucys teaches, they also were in the parade. Lucy wasnt able to be with them on the parade route as she had to be with her Rebs. They rode a truck this year on the parade route. But Lucy caught up with her little girls at the end of the parade and had her picture done with them.

At the game waiting to dance.

Just a wonderful fun weekend.
