Friday we had a baby shower at work for Margie. She has been trying for many many years for this little guy. In fact the baby is due on dece 22nd which is her 16th wedding anniversary! We have just been in a constant state of excitement for her over this baby ever since we knew she was finally preggie. Anyway heres some pictures of the shower. Even the doctors and the big boss from the main office came and got involved. Carole made me some darling items to give as a gift to her on this special day. A awesome blanket with her babies name on, a wall hanging and one of those wonderful fake cakes we love to do. Oh and also some baby soft blocks. You can see all of Caroles wonderful handmade items on Gate 5 which i should have on my blog list here. Im sure shed be getting Rykers items up on there now Margie has them. Margie also hired Carole to make all her blankets, drapes and other items for the babies nursery. Im sure there also be up there on gate 5 soon for you to see. The items and fake cake are done to match the items Carole made for the nursery. Anyway heres the pictures.

Dont you love the shirts we all have to wear on that day i hate at the end of the month! lol.
This strange person is one of the Drug Reps, he lives close in west jordan and has his own farm with home grown animals. So he came to the shower and cooked us yummy food. I almost died laughing tho when his daughter who came to help moaned that we were eating her fave cow. lol.

The doctors got this cake, Isnt is awesome.
Dr Fillmores wifes makes very yummy cookies so everytime we have a party she always makes us a bunch. We like them alot.
In our new office we have a wonderful break room, even comes with a leather sofa. Very nice!
This is the fake cake that Carole made. When margie walked in and saw it she teared up and had to walk away. She told me she had really wanted one and didnt think she was going to get one. She was so thilled with it. There not cheap to make but well worth the expense for someone special. The lower base has two homemade fleese blankets and some onies inside them. The middle is a bunch of different onies and t shirts of different sizes and the top of course is the monkey. lol. I made one for each of my grandbabies, its become a traditon. Carole put a lot of work into this and it turned out wonderful and she was thilled with it.

It was a wonderful day. And a wonderful first baby shower for Margie.
