Every year we have a tradition of getting together and getting our pic done for our yearly christmas card. With so many family members in England it has been a great way for them to stay in touch with our growing family over the years. In fact on my trip there this summer thats what my aunts and uncles told me they loved the most was getting our yearly christmas picture card and yearly letter. Some have kept every one for the past 25 years. Its kept us closer when we havnt been able to see each other like we would have liked to of.
Having the family enlarge tho does bring extra stresses of getting a time when we can all get together. Hayley is in hawaii this year so before she left we took a bunch of pictures in our yard in the hope of photoshopping her in. So thats the plan with Hayley. Well yeserday we all had set time aside to be together and then an hour before ralph gets called out on an emergency at work. Hes been on call the past two weeks and not one call but yeah you all knows how it goes. lol.
So hense the gap beween me and jay, we now also have to photoshop ralph in. We decided not to re scehedule as everyone just has crazy work schedules and its just to hard to try again. Once jay gets Ralph and Hayley photoshopped in we should have this years picture.
We also want to get a family pic of the whole family over christmas when Hayley will be visiting along with my parents from england. So hopefully that will happen. We should all be together on christmas day. lol. Although its getting harder every yearly picture brings with it its own memorys and this one too will go down in our family treasures and bring us smiles and laughs remembering how hard it was to do it. I will post the finished product when we get it complete. lol.
Debbie, you have a beautiful family! I was looking at the pictures of Lucy, she is gorgeous. All your girls are! And I love your additions too(Carole and Emily). A Family getting bigger is always crazy, but it is so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI was WONDERING where Ralph was! Beautiful family! My Dad's family had to Photo Shop in a couple of people, too, but it turned out GREAT!

ReplyDeleteHow funny your son checks it out, lol. I love your blog cause you always have all there dance videos on and i havnt figured that out yet. What will we blog about next year, lol. But then again with large families weve both be busy blogging about that and our new grandbabies that we always get around the same time, lol.
