Return Home and Update on Mum.

Heather and i got home late last night after 27 hours of traveling and little sleep if any on the planes. We had a really wonderful time. Its hard to put into words. It was so great seeing people and places that i had grown up with and loved. I love the british people, everywhere you go, they talk to you, on the buses and trains. There the salt of the earth and will talk to you and have no hang ups about what church you belong too and if your a good person judged by your attendance record at church. Sorry but its true. It was great to be around people that are so down to earth. I really shouldnt have left it so long in going back, i had forgotton how many people i had over there that loved me so much. I intend to try and go back for awhile every six months or so and no longer then every nine to twelve months from now on.
Update on mum. We went with her to chemo last week and its very hard seeing her go though that but know its helping her be with us as long as possible. Shes been lucky so far that it hasnt made her very sick and her wig looks so real no one knows its not her real hair. She was able to keep up with us very well and other then falling down the stairs at colchester castle was able to keep up with very well. She had a doctors app today and the results of her xray she had done when we were there and the great news is the cells in her lung are breaking up and going bye bye, its wonderful news. They want her to do another round of chemo to get rid of the last bunch so it does mean another six sessions of chemo but its well worth it. I was very very impressed with the care and love her chemo nurses and doctors gave her and im happy shes not only having first class care, being treated excellent but also that she dont have to worry about paying for it all. Although the brain cancer can not be broken up hopefully the radio treatment she had on it has sealed it liked they hoped and she will be with us for a long time. Im a firm beliver in miracles and i know all your prayers have helped her do as great as she is doing right now. Please keep it up for her. Her doctor also says he sees no reason why she cant come and visit us for almost a month in dece so weve thilled about that. Im very grateful for the wonderful parents i have and how they rasied me. I wouldnt change anything. I love them so much.

  1. Glad your trip was fun. I love England and it holds a special place in my heart as well. I know it's not the same as yours, having been born and raised there, but I do love it. I'm so glad your Mum is doing ok. You being by her side is probably the greatest thing she could have asked for this week! We'll keep praying for her.

  2. Thank you so much. Yes my brother said before i went out there that knowing i was comming out had really boasted her spirits and helped her when she was facing what she was and was getting ready for the radio therary and chemo. I know it helped me seeing her and helping her for a little while. It was really hard saying goodbye but when i hugged her i felt the spirit so strong telling me all was going to be good and that i would see her again soon.
Glad you enjoyed england too on your trips there, it really is a special place.
