ABOVE IS A PIC OF LUCY GETTING READY FOR HER VERY FIRST DANCE RECITAL AT THE RIPE OLD AGE OF THREE. SHE HAD SAT ON THE SIDE LINES WATCHING HER SISTERS SINCE SHE WAS TWO DAYS OLD AND COULDNT WAIT TILL SHE WAS OLD ENOUGH TO HAVE LESSONS HERSELF. SHE ALSO TOLD ME WHEN SHE WAS SIX YEARS OLD WHEN WE FIRST SAW THE MINERETTES DANCE AT BHS THAT SHE WANTED TO BE A MINERETTE ONE DAY. I TOLD HER, YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO WORK REALLY REALLY HARD FOR THAT ONE, AND BOY DID SHE. BOY ITS GONE FAST, SEEMS LIKE YESERDAY. LOVE the pictures--the flashback pic is so much fun...Becca also couldn't WAIT to start dance and always did her older sisters' dances--sometimes she remembered their dances better than THEY did!
ReplyDeletelol that sounds so much like lucy also. She would stand and copy heather and hayley dances while the teacher was teaching them from the time she could walk. lol. It just seems like yeserday. Also seems like yeserday that lucy and becca were trying out for the minerettes, it goes so fast. In a way it will be nice to be done with it but im sure weve really miss it too.
