Wow, Three posts in one day! But that's what it took to post all about our trip to Mesquite. Don't forget to read the other two posts to check out what Ralph and Lucy did on this trip. I had a perfect trip. I had said to Agaath on our way home from Laughin the week before that our trip had been perfect and there was no way we could top it in Mesquite. Hmm! Well we did!!!!!!!!! We arrived on Thursday night and it started well. We was upgraded to a suite!!!!!!! Friday morning Ralph took off with Lucy. I spent part of the day with my friend Jill from San Diego, then she had to take off somewhere and I sat in the lobby people watching. Its funny in a casino watching people. They are very happy or very stressed. Anyway I was sitting there alone and along comes Merrill. He sat with me a while and we chatted and then he left. Five mins later he was back asking me to do a favor for him. He wanted to put me in a cab and surprised his daughter in law with cake, dr pepper and flowers, her birthday. Well we searched all over the hotel for dr pepper and couldn't find any, crazy. While we were doing that along comes sweet jay. He gave me a hug hug and wished me Happy V day. I was the only fan that got a hug from him on V day so I did feel special I must admit. Anyway jay took off and then Merrill had to go somewhere and he asked me to wait for him. I did and when he came back we were making plans for my cab ride, he was giving me his phone number and credit card when he got a call from his son to say they wasn't in mesquite yet anyway. So that little fun trip got cancelled, lol. It was fun spending time with him anyway. He left and then Jay came back and we chatted for awhile. Then I got ready for the show and was happy to meet up with my friend Agaath and Jill again at the show. Wow and it was an amazing show. Never gets old. I got lots of hugs and attention tonight. Agaath caught some of the hugs with her camera but I got some from the stage as well. I at one point had to yell in jays ear to be careful and not to fall, as I was getting worried he would. After the show Ralph and I went and got ice cream. He had just arrived back from Zions. Saturday I spent the day with Agaath. We sat in the lobby and crafted and talked. Jay and his son Marcus came along and talked to us for awhile and we got pictures. (see above). Agaath had a book she wanted signed so Jay gave us his room number and told us to call him at six and come visit him and marcus at his room. We did that and spent about 40 mins talking to him there. It was a very special conversion that I wont go into in detail. Jay was the one who had found me 30 years ago and had me meet his parents, which lead to my joining the church. We talked about that and church stuff and jay was very touched. He said he didn't know how he was going to be able to do the show now e was so touched by out talk. The show, well amazing and tons more hugs etc. They always give us a great time which is why we keep going back. After the show, Ralph, Agaath and I were heading to dinner and we bumped into jay and marcus again. More hugs and goodbyes as they were leaving. We get to where we are eating dinner in the casino and all of a sudden Jay comes rushing in with his suits over his shoulder, for some more goodbyes and to thank me for being so nice to marcus. How he got there and back without being trapped by fans is beyond me but he did. He left and we had dinner. Yup. Agaath and I somehow topped last weeks trip. Never thought we would. We were the only fans that he spent personal time with, we were very blessed. Here are some pictures.

Agaath was sitting behind me, she don't like sitting in front as shes a big picture taker so likes to be back abit. So got in a few of her pictures lol.

I love this picture above. My sweet friend singing to me. You can just see my head. He came in for a hug after that. Glad he didn't fall off stage. I was worried! Nothing better then one of the boys singing to ya. Im spoiled, it happens a lot:) Below is Jill from san diego, picture taken before show. The shows are always fun and gives us ladies a chance to dress up.
So that was my amazing trip to Mesquite. Glad I finally have caught up with the show posts. More shows that are booked are vegas in may, Kansas with my friend Ashley in july and Branson with Ralph and Agaath end of oct. But checking there show schedule all the time for local shows that might be added.
