We were lucky to have been able to attend a gala in Denver which helped kids that needed hearing aids. A lot of money was rasied. It was crazy seeing people bid fifteen thousand on tickets for a football game. Also a company donated a million dollors. Yes you heard that correct! It was a wonderful weekend and we enjoyed the gala very much. Here are some pictures.

I was lucky to get a couple of pictures with Merrill. Above is at the airport the morning after the gala. I guess he lives in slc too!!! When he saw us he came right over and sat with us. It was nice to have time to talk to him. What a down to earth normal guy he is. The bottom picture was taken at the end of the gala.

These pictures are of Merrill and his son Justin. Justin has hearing loss himself as do Merrills two older brothers who don't sing. Merrill sang a beautiful song while Justin sign it.
Below is Olive who started the hearing fund for children. Cant believe how much like marie she looks.
Although this looks like Justin, this isn't. Guess who!! One and only Donny. He flew in and did a wonderful show. Have been seeing this guy in concerts for 40 years since I was 14. He only gets better and better.

The highlight of the evening for me was when Merrill and Donny sang together at the end. What a rare treat that was.
Brothers giving a hug. It was a wonderful evening and a wonderful weekend. Wouldn't have missed it for the world.
