Wonderful Trip With Hayley,Aaron And Baby Ian

My computers been down so once again way behind with blogging. A couple of weeks ago Hayley and Aaron got to leave the Hawaii Marine Base they have been at for the past few years and start the long journey to there new base in Maryland. For awhile they had there car waiting for them in San Diego, there furniture on its way to Maryland (that still is), there dog with us in Utah and them still in Hawaii. lol. Anyway they flew into San Diego to pick up there car and then had the long long roadtrip to Maryland. Luckily they have us in Utah, Aarons mom and stepdad in Lewiston Idaho and his dad and stepmom in Iowa. That way they could break the trip up over a month and stay with each family for a week or so. Anyway we met them in Vegas. We stayed at the Tuscany Inn and suites which Aaron stayed at three years ago when he did a road trip to leave his florida base to drive to san diego and fly to Hawaii base. (lot easier then without wife and baby I bet!!). The hotel was amazing and certainly the place to stay in vegas. I even took pictures of it which your see below. Just wonderful. We stayed there for three nights with the kids and of course it was wonderful seeing baby Ian again. He had grown so much since we last saw him in Hawaii last month. We went to Death Valley one day and another we went to the West Rim Grand Canyon. And yes, I went out on the skywalk. It was a really fun couple of days. Then we spent a day with Lucy in St George as she was unable to get time off work while they were here. We then drove home and they spent a week with us before heading off to Idaho. Anyway here is the Vegas potion of the trip.

Above is West Rim and below is our room at the hotel. Had a small kitchen, separate area for living room, separate bath tub and shower. Just loved it. Very clean and didn't have that smell that hotels sometimes do in vegas. We babysat Ian one night so the kids could do there own thing.

It looks like Ian stayed in our room, but no they had there own room. lol.

And meeting Heather for the first time. Its sad all three sissys were not able to be together. All don't get to spend enough time together.

Below you see the skywalk. It was pretty amazing having a glass floor and seeing the Grand Canyon below. So glad I was brave enough to do it. lol. (my kids know how amazing it is that I did it. lol).

I think some of the pictures are the same. That's what you get when more then one person taking pictures. Such a fun trip. Really enjoyed it.
